Vulnerable Women Empowerment in Armenia 2023

The “Vulnerable Women Empowerment in Armenia-2023” project is co-funded by the Saint Sarkis Charity Trust ant Association Arménienne d’Aide Sociale and implemented by the Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development.

Contest – Le Coq Français 2024

The “Le Coq Français” contest was created in 2017 by the Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development and the Association Arménienne d’Aide Sociale to promote the French language in Armenia.

In 2024, over 2,500 pupils took part in the competition.

Vulnerable Women Empowerment

The Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development and the Arev Society have been working with vulnerable women in Armenia since 2020, especially those who became widows or had disabled husbands due to the devastating war. These women faced immense challenges, including a lack of professional skills and savings.

More than 50 income-generating activities were initiated in 2022 and 2023 within the “Vulnerable Women Empowerment” program, several of which were supported by the Arev Society.

Contest – Le Coq Français 2023

Created in 2017 thanks to the joint efforts of the Association Arménienne d’Aide Sociale and the Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development, the “Le Coq Français” competition aims to contribute to the influence of the French language in Armenia. It brings together the best pupils from French-speaking public and private schools from all regions of Armenia.

“Vulnerable women empowerment in Armenia” project 2023

Within the framework of the “Vulnerable women empowerment in Armenia” project supported by the Australian Government and implemented by the Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development, 15 women received vocational trainings and 11 small businesses were established in different spheres.

Social and Economic Inclusion of Vulnerable Women in Armenia 2022

Concerned about the socio-economic situation of vulnerable families affected by the war in Artsakh in 2020, the Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development in partnership with Saint Sarkis Charity Trust and Association Arménienne d’Aide Sociale has implemented “Social and Economic Inclusion of Vulnerable Women” project during 2022. In the framework of this project 18 businesses and 18 vocational trainings were funded.

Contest – Le Coq Français 2022

Created in 2017 by the Armenian Foundation for Sustainable Development, the “Le Coq Français” competition brings together the best students from French-speaking public and private schools in Yerevan and other regions of Armenia.

The competition brings together more than 2,000 students every year to test their knowledge of French.

Since 2020, the Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development, in partnership with the UEFA Children’s Foundation, has been implementing the “Génération Sport” project, which aims to promote sports activities among Armenian youth.

In 3 years, 66 schools have received sports equipment. Sports events or meetings with famous sportsmen take place regularly for the great joy of the children during the implementation of the project.
