Vulnerable people

Vulnerable persons in Armenia have special protection from State. However, various allowances and benefits can’t ensure social and economic inclusion in society.

If people with hearing and visual impairments have been among our beneficiaries since 2005, the internally displaced people had become such after the 2020 war, when they were at risk of food insecurity.

By working in close cooperation with the fundraising platform for Fund for Armenian Relief, AYO, Aznavour Foundation and other partners, we participated in a food relief program to contribute to national capacities in responding to emergencies. To achieve social and economic inclusion of people with disabilities, the AF4SD has implemented several projects to guarantee equal access to education and employment.

The Arev Society provided management support for the implmentation and reporting of this project.
